St. Johns was rated the no.1 School in Chandigarh by the "Outlook" Magazine

2. Indradanush
This programme has not only uplifted, but more importantly, has empowered the economically backward young ones. They constitute 20% of the student population. They are provided with milk, fruit and frequent medical check-ups.

3. Computers
St. John's was awarded the National Computer Literacy Award for the year 2003 in the category of private schools.

4. Library
St. John’s is the proud holder of the best Library, Best Librarian, Maximum Prizes and Maximum participation in the Chandigarh Librarian's Association.

5. Clubs
The Clubs cater to the varied interests of the students, by offering them a wide range of choices. The various Clubs include:-The literary club, The nature club, The Music Club, The Chefs, The Robotics club, Creative art, Public Speaking, The Dramatics club, Karate club etc.

6. Music
St. John's has a very well equipped Music room with a grand Piano, Guitars (electric & acoustic), Keyboards, Tabla, Harmonium, Veena and the all important Drum set. We also Have our own school band-"The Soaring Eagles".

7. Science and Math Labs
St. John's boasts of two well equipped, well lighted and airy science labs, where students of class 6 to 10 regularly perform experiments.
